Elabd Laboratory Research Highlighted in

In the January 2008 issue of Photonics Spectra, writer Lynn Savage highlighted the research Professor Elabd and graduate student Dan Hallinan have been conducting in the Fuel Cells and Polymer Membrane Laboratory. The article, "Testing Methanol-Based Fuel Cells Using FTIR Spectroscopy," explains how Elabd and Hallinan have used FTIR-ATR to determine diffusion and sorption of both methanol and water in Nafion for applications to methanol-based fuel cells.
