EWB Chapter Wins 3rd Place at CoE Film Festival
CoE's 1st Annual Film Festival
CoE students, faculty, and staff attended the 1st Annual Film Festival June 5, 2008 in the William F. Mitchell Auditorium. The event featured the top five films which included Engineering at Drexel, Engineering the Day, The Freshmen Engineering Song, Engineers Without Borders: The Miramar Project and Cyborg Poultry. A panel of judges determined winners and awarded Best Buy gift cards: 1st - $1,500, 2nd - $1,000, 3rd - $750.

Drexel chapter of Engineers Without Borders experience in Miramar, El Salvador to provide a village with a clean, dependable water supply and distribution system.

The goal of this project is to provide the 160 people of Miramar with access to a clean, dependable water source year round.
Background:
The village of Miramar is located on a hill 500 vertical feet above La Ceiba. The people
of Miramar rely on hand-dug shallow wells.
