Julianne Holloway was recently awarded the NDSEG (National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowship), a DoD fellowship program sponsored by one of the following research organizations - the Air Force Office of Scientific Research, Army Research Office, Office of Naval Research, and High Performance Computing Modernization Program. Julianne, advised by Dr. Giuseppe Palmese and co-advised by Dr. Anthony Lowman, is currently researching the development of a synthetic meniscus using fiber reinforced polymers.
