The department would like to congratulate Katie Smalley, program coordinator, on being awarded a Master of Science degree in communication, with a concentration in technical writing, on June 13, 2009. Katie has been with the department since February, 2006. She received her Bachelor of Science degrees from Penn State University in journalism and American studies in May, 2003.
